You already know it’s important to show up consistently for your audience. And I know it can be hard to show up when you don’t have any new client work to share.

So here’s the trick….you can and should repurpose some of your content from previous sessions and photoshoots to get in front of your audience more often!

Here’s how you can turn each photoshoot session into 5 (or more!) different social media posts on any platform!

  1. The Sneak-Peek — Share a sneak-peek the day of (or after) a session.

Example:
“Big congratulations to [Bride] and [Groom] who got married / tied the knot at the beautiful / charming / gorgeous / amazing [Venue] yesterday! Every detail of their wedding was impeccable… just wait until you see their cake / special dance / Bride’s shoes etc. I’m dying to share more! Check back in tomorrow morning for another sneak-peek.”

2. Behind-the-Scenes — Consider an Instagram story of raw images straight from your camera or of your computer screen giving your audience a peek into your editing process, a selfie of you and your client(s), or ask a friend to get some true behind-the-scenes footage of you doing your thing.

Example for photographers:
“I’ve been editing away [client]’s photos this morning, and I have so much sparkle / fringe / goodness to share with you on the blog this week / next week / in a few days. This reveal is one you don’t want to miss!”

Example for Models:
“Today’s shoot with [photographer] couldn’t wait for final images to be shared!”

3. Blog Post Announcement — This can easily be turned into 3 posts! The day before your blog post goes live, post a caption/status announcing when the post will be live for everyone to check out the next day. Then, the day you publish the blog post, share a status announcing that the blog is live; this can be a true post or share in-person to your IG stories. And lastly, one or two days later post something along the lines of “In case you missed it yesterday, [client]’s senior shoot/new headshots/wedding is now live on the blog.”

Example:
“I don’t think there was a single dry eye during [Bride] and [Groom]’s ceremony at [Venue]. Their whole wedding was truly a reflection of how kind and genuine they really are as a couple!

Their gorgeous wedding is being featured on my blog this morning, and you won’t believe what [Groom] surprised [Bride] with right before she walked down the aisle / during the ceremony / during the reception!

4. Gallery Delivery Day — The day you deliver your client’s gallery gives you another excuse to post about their photoshoot session.

Example:
“Witnessing [something unique and wonderful about the shoot] was the perfect reminder of why I chose to become a wedding photographer / fashion photographer / senior photographer. It’s gallery delivery day for [client(s)] and I couldn’t be happier with how amazing their images turned out. Can I photograph at [Venue] every weekend, please?!”

5. Anniversary Post — This is a great way to stay top of mind, and your clients will feel extra special that you remembered their anniversary.

Example:
“Celebrating one month / six months / one year since this branding shoot / wedding / blog launch in [city]. I can hardly believe it’s been this long since I photographed this brilliant boss babe / couple / yoga queen / photographer / designer. Happy Anniversary!”

And there you have it! When you show up consistently in your audience’s feed, they’ll perceive you as being busy and in demand.
